Children's Cooking Lessons and birthday parties

  • The classes are suitable for girls and boys aged 5-11 and include practical cookery.
  • The children are provided with all the ingredients and utensils.
  • I teach children to cook ' real ' food using their favorite recipes and only fresh and free range ingredients.
  • They are encouraged to prepare the food on their own.
  • It gives them mathematic skills by learning to measure and weigh the ingredients.
  • Fun is the key ingredient.
  • Parties are a minimum of 10 children and up to 30 children.
  • Cost is from R55 a head.

The New Cook

  • From 18 – 80 years old
  • Newlyweds, or couples, busy parents who are looking for healthy but fast meals to prepare for their families, children and parent lessons (for fussy eaters) and teenagers leaving home or going to university wanting to learn everyday basic meals.
  • These courses depend on the season and can be tailor-made and offered in your own homes.

R250 per hour - minimum of 3 hours for two people

Private Cooking Lessons

  • Adult classes run from 9am – 12pm.
  • Groups are kept small.
  • The classes are not demonstrations, but hands-on cooking. We aim to have lots of fun.
  • Please note the type of dishes you would like to cover during your private lesson. I will email you a shopping list.
  • After the lesson I am happy to help with setting the table and to leave before your guests arrive.
  • We usually prepare meals up to 8 people, so you can freeze some for later.
  • Private lessons are offered in your own homes to teach housewife's or husbands or housekeepers, nannies or au pairs to cook to your specific diets including sugar free, dairy free, gluten free, fat free or kosher meals.
  • A great idea if you are having guests for a dinner party or want meals prepared to fill your freezer.
  • R250 per hour including recipe folder.
  • I love shopping so it's not a problem for a small fee.
