early beginnings

Nice Touch was started 6 years ago by Janis Moss, who is a wife and mother of three. 

From a young age I have always loved cooking.  Cooking dinners, cakes, desserts and exotic salads for family and friends gives me complete pleasure. 

My love for cooking started at a young age.  Watching my mother and grandmother introduced me to the basics of everyday cooking. Our house was always filled with family and friends for parties and get together’s.  There was always something baking in the oven.

In 2004, after receiving compliments and encouragement from friends, Nice Touch was born.  I began teaching domestics from my home kitchen.  Within a few months of this, I began fulfilling requests for catering for functions ranging from 10-40 persons for customers located on the Atlantic Seaboard.  In recent years, Nice Touch has evolved to provide cooking entertainment for Children’s birthday parties, team building sessions and various fun baking events.

The classes are relaxed and the Nice Touch hands-on teaching methods help everyone to feel comfortable and make the cooking seem so easy.

The food is traditional, old fashioned style for everyday healthy and nutritious meals.
